Leave beta channel

I decided to opt in to the beta channel last week as I was really curious about some of the candidate features that was planned to be released. When stable release got out today I decided to leave the beta channel. So I did this by selecting the option “Leave beta channel”.

However, the version for operating system seems to be “stuck”. I made some attempts to Google the solution but most hits was concerning the Supervisor.
Sure, the Supervisor also needs to get an update and here I followed a thread to set supervisor to stable ( ha supervisor options --channel=stable) and then reload supervisor, but no luck either.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

If you installed a beta version of the OS it won’t downgrade when you leave the beta channel.

You have to downgrade manually via the CLI:

ha os update --version 11.2

restore from backup OS 11.2 , Supervisor 2024.11.X, then ha supervisor update … just 1 idea

Ok, Tom got ahead of me …again

There should be no need to do this:

Or this:

For an OS rc downgrade.

Ok , i left beta 2-3 month ago, can’t remember what i did, or whether i “restored”

he is on supervisor 2023.12.1 … im not !

Missed that. Thanks:

ha os update --version 11.2
ha supervisor update --version 2023.12.0

Great support guys, I will have a go!

I made a mistake in the commands. See the edited post above.

No worries mate, I managed to figure it out anyway thanks to the helpful error messages. Seems to be fine now, I think.

Thank you for your help
