LED driver for HA, fitting into flush mounted box (Unterputzdose)

I have a “dumb” LED driver which is mounted behind a switch in a flush mounted box (Unterputzdose). I would like to replace it with something “intelligent”, having i.e. Zigbee or WLAN. The LEDs are 350mA. Any recommendation? Didn’t find anything, yet…

Thanks,

Thomas

Difficult to suggest anything knowing nothing about your LEDs (and actual driver). Also, just on/off or dimming?

Here you go :slight_smile:
Dimming is an extra, not required…

maybe difficult to fit into wall:

Constant current LED driver.
Without knowing your LEDs, only thing that comes to my mind is placing Shelly 1 Mini between the switch and driver. It likely fits there.

@jhol-byte That’s the challenge… There are a lot of devices available but fitting it into the wall, that’s a problem…

@Karosm That are EVN P440102, they only say 350mA 1W… Here is the (German) Website: LED Wandeinbau - EDS IP44 - 350mA - 1W - 3000K - 22lm |

And no, there’s no place for a Shelly, it’s already super tight because of the LED driver and a switch sharing the hole in the wall…

The light specs didn’t open any ideas to me.
If you can’t fit 3x3x1.5cm device there with the switch, you likely need to place the driver to another location.

THANKS anyway :slight_smile:
