Hello. I’m seeking some advice on a new project. I’d like to install an RGB LED light strip into a new shelving unit and control them via Home Assistant. The lights should be dimmable and allow for various colour changes. The shelving unit measures 152 cm W x 80 cm H x 28 cm D. Please see the photo. Can someone recommend an LED solution and what integration would I use in HA (wled?). Do you recommend self adhesive LED strips and where do I buy them from? I’m thinking I would go with BTF - Lighting https://www.btf-lighting.com/ . The lights are meant to be accent lighting only. Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.
I do not want to recommend/comment in the light strip itself, too many options and prices and desires …websites a plenty deal with that. For me: #leds per meter mattered for only one of the strips and for the other being super white. Self-adhisive is fine
I bought mine with Ali, I have 2 wled with a ready-wled-flashed small (hideable) controller for 36EUR (5 meters so can be cheaper). I also have a few simple rgb, lot cheaper (less options) with a similar sized zigbee controller. At the low prices…try one out maybe ?
