LED strip control

Hello there!

I am planning to install led strip above kitchen counter and I am wondering if anyone has any idea how to control LED strip (Mono) using 2 ways:

  • Touch / Swipe(Wave) control
  • Remote control via Home Assistant

And I am wondering if it is possible to somehow control it in parallel with esp8266 (Which communicates with HA) so I can turn led strip on either with touch / swipe control or with HA remotely.

Any other suggestions on how to do it?

Would something like this work? Button for local on/off and runs esphome so it integrates nicely with home assistant.
