LED Strips for Christmas lights

Hey all,

I’ve watched Dr Zzs setup of the led strips for Christmas lights and I’m looking to setup the same. Im just confused on how to inject power every 5 meters. I need three led strips at 16.4ft long ( ALITOVE 16.4ft WS2812B) and I’m looking to use this power supply (https://www.amazon.com/ALITOVE-Transformer-Converter-5-5x2-1mm-100V-240V/dp/B01LXN7MN3/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=12v%2B15%2Bamp%2Bpower%2Bsupply&qid=1598975164&sr=8-6&th=1&psc=1)

Can I just run 28awg wire to each led strip and then twist the three 5v (red) wires together and then use the screw in terminal adapter that comes with the power supply and not have to connect each red 5V wire to a separate terminal? And then do the same with the three black (ground) wires as well?

You can twist the wires together, it will work, at least a while.
But I recommend a better method than just twisting.
There is probably an infinite number of ways to join cables just make sure it will not easily get undone.

Ground wires should not need… Unjecting (?)
