hi everyone I’m new to HA and have set up my ledvance garden pole in Philips Hue. If I make a scene in HA that turns on the ledvance garden pole, they turn on with the color pink, even though I have set them to warm white. what am I doing wrong?
I have the same issue. The mapping of the RGBW colors is wrong.
For instance, from the color wheel it’s impossible to make the lamp green, but it goes green if I set it to “warm” from the temperature slider.
I don’t know where the mapping is configured (I use ZHA with a conbee II, even if I am on a yellow (so in theory I could use its embedded radio).
I’ll look into it a bit, but I wonder if OP @EcarDK had made any progress in the last 1.5 years.
Wondering if you still have this issue?
I should have come back here when I solved it.
In the end the problem wasn’t software at all. The connector between the controller and the first lamp was not plugged correctly. It should mechanically prevent that, with an extra plastic pin or something, but I manged to plug it rotated. It was my fault, and it’s now working fine.
Thank you, a great help!
This seems to be a general issue, at least with the LEDvance garden poles.
I sent the 1st set I order back, assuming it was defect.
When a new set (different size) arrived today I had the same issue again. I tried to find something on the net and read about different, complicated software approaches. Finally I stumbled over this thread - and finally found it is a mechanical problem in my case, too. I can connect the 5 pin (I think it is) plug and socket in many different positions, only one is correct.
@signaleleven: I wouldn’t say it is your fault, the mechanical guidance of the connector is not well designed!
