LEDvance SMART+ Candle E14 Tunable White bulb Zigbee died

Hi all

Something strange happened today, and I thought I would share the experience and see if anybody else have come across it:

I bought 3 bulbs with Zigbee from LEDvance with the adjustible white color temperature and set them up through ZHA. So far so good, everything worked perfectly in HA and ZHA.

I wanted to add a new FoH 4-button ( SR-ZGP2801K4-FOH-E) to control the three bulbs in a group. The button would not show up in ZHA at all when searching for it and I therefore uninstalled ZHA and use deCONZ instead; that worked for all 4 things. Again, so far so good.

Then I wanted the 4-button to control 1-on/dim up, 2-color temp up, 3-off/dim down, 4-color temp down and set that up in Phoscon directly, which is where everything started to go south.

When using the remote, the bulbs were not really fully responsive, especially the color temp adjusting did not work at all as it should. Suddenly, when turning the group on, only one of the three bulbs came on; the three others were dead. Cannot be reset, cannot come on, cannot be seen in deCONZ or Phoscon as on-line or anything else; completely bricked.

I continued troubleshooting looking in logs and states to see what happened when doing what on the remote, and suddenly I noticed the last bulb dimming very low going to the highest Kelvin and then dying.

So, now three dead bulbs in 2 hours after putting them on deCONZ and using the remote.

It looked like the bulb was pushed outside it’s parameters and died from it; like above max/500 in color tempurature.

Anything anybody has heard about before?
