Legacy Widgets missing after update

After updating to version 2024.8 de legacy/ old style widgets won’t show up any more on iOS 17.6.1.
Even after restarting my device or uninstalling/ reinstalling the app.

I really hope this is a bug and not a feature.
I personally don’t like the new style widgets, because every time I use the new style widgets to activate an action the HA app must open (I know this is a requirement from Apple). After more testing it seems that this isn’t the case with the new widgets anymore, although I found out that your phone has to be unlocked for them to work. I have my phone lying next to me on the couch and often isn’t unlocked when I want to use the Widgets. The legacy Widgets work with a locked phone.

Same issue here. It’s driving my girlfriend nuts  she’s on ios 16.7.8 both legacy and new widgets missing (I think the new one never worked, but not sure)

Bring back the old widget please!!

It now shows a lot less scripts and therefore I can run half of the things I need to know as they are not there.

Update 2024.8.1 did not fixed this unfortunately.

Hey folks, old “Today’s view widget” is permanently removed, we now focus all efforts on making the new widgets better, more information here: Reconsider removal of Today View Action widget until feature parity achieved in home screen Action widgets · home-assistant/iOS · Discussion #2948 · GitHub

I wasn’t aware it was not working in iOS16, next time please open an issue in github for faster support. I’ll provide a fix

The news that the old “Today’s view widget“ is permanently removed should have been added in the app update release notes. That is less confusing for the people who still use it.
