The new release now fully supports local network connections and continues support for cloud connection. Lots of new stuff in this full featured integration.
My system has been happily running on version 0.0.6 since September. Lately I’ve been noticing a few errors in my logs, mostly connecting to the Lennox cloud service. So, I thought I should check to see if there is a newer version.
Wow, was I surprised! Not only was there a newer version but several major improvements!
-
Local connections not just the cloud connection I used previously. HUGE!
-
HACS installation. Very nice and easy!
-
Many more devices, entities and attributes.
-
Well written instructions.(Not that it was bad before, just that others aren’t always that good.) My only challenge was finding the local IP address. I had to find the MAC address of the unit, and hunt for that in my router, because the router just said “unknown” for the device name. If there are other ways to find it, tips on that might be helpful.
Nice job @PeteRage! Congratulations! Keep it up! And a big THANK YOU for all your work.
