It’s basicaly a Google Home mini with a small screen made for the clock.
My main purpose when I got it was because I thought that the wake time I planned would appears in my Google agenda and I could use it to start automation.
But… It’s not.
Do you know how to get the clock time from Google assistant to Google agenda ?
I do it the other way around - I have a Google Calendar entry for my ‘alarm’, and when it triggers, start playing the radio on the clock as well as other automations (as I used to do on a Home mini).
But like this, my clock is no use anymore.
I noticed the clock has the ability to start the routine “Bonjour” (I don’t know how it’s called in English).
So I’ll try to create an automation with all my needs, and turn it as a switch, so the routine will turn this switch.
The two problems are that I’ll loose this routine and that I wont be able to start an automation before thé wake up time (for the bathroom heater for exemple).
Hey @MrNonoss did you figure out a way to get the alarm into HA? I have an elderly person who I would like to set the light and heat for when they wake up. But no way will I be able to teach them how to set the alarm in HA, however they are use to setting alarms on clocks.
So I would like to somehow have the alarm set on the Lenovo Clock, and have that info transferred to HA for automation triggers somehow. Did you find a way? Thanks!
Well… The short answer is no.
However, I came up with à solution (that I do not use, but…)
With this clock, you are able to fire the “bonjour/hello” automation when the alarm rings.
So what you have to do is create an automation on HA, make it usable through Google Assistant, and set it to be fired with “bonjour/hello” automation.
Since it is not what I want to achieve, I’m not using it but I think it could be ok in your case.
Hi, I also would like to know this. When setting an alarm in the Lenovo Smart Clock, there is a checkbox called “Morgenroutine” (in german, so like “morning routine”). I can’t find anything regarding “Morgenroutine” in the Google Home app, where I could set my own controls, such as turning on a light.
yeah, but exactly this doesn’t work. I checked Good Morning routine on the lenovo clock, and edited my Good Morning routine in the Google Home app so that it turns on a light. This morning, nothing happened after my alarm went off on the Lenovo Clock. The music was playing on the clock but no light turned on.
Same problem here with no solution unfortunately, when looking at the next alarm sensor settings on the Lenovo, there isn’t even an option to select packages. I see:
