Lenovo ThinkSmart View ROM/OS Development

definitely late but in case it still helps-

ive now bricked a couple of these doing arbitrary things, im pretty sure in your case your gpt partition is gone so it has no partition map at all. you should be able to use edl qfil <recovery_unspare> <image_dir> --loader=<your_loader.mbn> to flash an entire image, which doesnt need a partition table present since it has sector starts and lengths within it (and will rewrite your gpt and gpt backup during flashing)

Does anyone knows if this ROM/OS works on TBJ-606F?

Lineageos is much faster then that. However it loses wifi sometimes and sometimes cant reconnect by itself.
Unfortunately it seems development stopped on these devices.

I’m having an issue flashing my ThinkSmart View. After much fiddling I got edl working, but now I seem to be having issues connecting my computer to the device via the usb-c port. I’m using the Apple USB-C cable that works for data when I connect my phone to my laptop.

When I press volume up & down during boot the screen just flickers the Lenovo logo then goes dark. Pressing volume up during boot does bring me to the Android Recovery screen.

During normal use, during boot, or in android recovery, I’m not seeing any connection from my computer to the ThinkSmart View via USB. Can anyone offer any pointers to help me get unstuck? It’d be much appreciated, thanks!
