Hi Community,

Is there a way to use a custom rest_command to set the DNS TXT record for the Let‘s Encrypt Addon?

I have a hard time figuring out what you are trying to accomplish.

I have API acces via REST API to the provider that hosts my own Domain and I want to write my own client to set the TXT record for the LetsEncrypt DNS verification method.

Well it is just a certbot implementation, so look into certbot instead.
