Let's encrypt renewel problem

Hi all,

Having trouble with hassio addon lets encrypt (version 2.2). It did not renew my certs (which has now expired) I could not get it run. Tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, to no avail. This is the error i am getting in the logs:

18-01-30 23:50:39 ERROR (SyncWorker_14) [hassio.docker] Can’t start addon_core_letsencrypt: 500 Server Error: Internal Server Error (“driver failed programming external connectivity on endpoint addon_core_letsencrypt (redacted): Bind for 0.0.0.0:80 failed: port is already allocated”)

Thanks for any help!

Well I solved it. I had NGINIX running and it was messing with port allocation. All good.

For future reference: Ditto… and since I only run Hassio over HTTPS, the easiest solution for me was to change Nginx’s port 80 binding to something else and restart it. Then the Let’s Encrypt add-on was free to do its thing.
