Hey there!
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I have a bluetooth fan speed control switch from Leviton:
DDF01-BLZ - Decora Digital 1.5A Quiet Fan Speed Control
I’ve noticed the Decora Digital documentation , but don’t understand:
Can I use this on a fan control? @mjg59
Can I customize it to control a fan?
If so, how I actually use this? The instructions are… well… there aren’t really any instructions.
I don’t understand:
Where I download the files to?
How do I execute the commands?
Where do I get the mac address for the bluetooth device?
The rest of my setup is a Raspberry PI 3 Model B running Hass.io
Hey @mjg59 , are you the same user that owns this your repository?
If so, do you happen to have a walk through on how to do this? OR do you mind providing a little more information?
Like:
how do I get the bluetooth address of the switch?
Where do I download this git repository to?
How do I download it?

Hey @chansearrington
sorry for bringing this post back to life but did you ever figure out how to get this guys script working?
@dustinking no, but Leviton finally released a Decora Zwave Fan Controller so I switched to that.
I’ve got the same Bluetooth fan controller - my HA installation has a Bluetooth dongle I added, which I can see is being configured by the OS, but not sure how HA itself needs to be configured in order communicate with the Bluetooth controller. Clearly missing some details!
