LG webOS false state ON/OFF constantly

Hi all! So I have a LG tv already set up on HA, connected by Ethernet. Can turn on and off and control it by HA and node red. The thing is that today I check the logbook and I realize that when I was actually watching TV the state change constantly as you can see

There is nothing in the log so I kind of lost here.
Any help would be really appreciate

Thanks

Hi, I have the same issue… anoying, since my light conrtol based on the TV states :frowning:

Any idea?

Thanks!

Nothing yet. Today I received an update for the TV, hoping that could fix something but nothing, still the same problem. Its a mess because I also have light controls based on the tv.
Hope somebody can help us.

Thanks.
As a temporary solution, I changed my logic a bit. I use a Yamaha amplifier for sound, so I put the “turn off” to the amplifier instead of TV. This seems stabil. Nevertheless, this is not the best and must be fixed.

I have same issue for 6 months now, and can’t find the cause.

Same problem here, I’ve logged an issue to Core: https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/37929

I’m getting this issue now, was it resolved for you all?

I had this integration working properly but now it starts to do this issue.
The TV is on and connected to internet by Ethernet and in the home assistant appears on and off repeatedly.

I am also having this issue. Was working perfectly fine and then all of a sudden starts turning itself on and off, despite the fact the TV is clearly ON!!! It keeps turning my sound bar on and off :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I reloaded the intergration where is shows unavailable, but makes no difference.

I have the same issue, it’s been persisting a long time already. Really annoying, makes using automations based on TV state completely useless.
I tried using the Soundbar on/off status instead, since it always goes on when the TV is turned on and off in a similar way…but of course it’s also an LG and the same problem is there as well…the on/off state can not be trusted with anything.
