Lifx vs hue light availability

so when hue lights are disconnected from HA, they still show in the UI, but they show as “Unavailable”…

when LIFX lights are disconnected however, they disappear completely from the UI… this causes some annoying problems when syncing things with Google Assistant as sometimes the lights disappear… I also think the fact that they disappear from the UI makes it take longer to reload the lights when they come back online… it seems I have to reboot HA for it to pickup the lights again when they come online…

Is there a way to configure the LIFX lights so they function like hue lights and don’t disappear from my HA UI?

Same issue here with LifX, would love for them to stay in GUI if they are off

The LIFX lights are scanned during startup and there is no way to permanently add lights that might be offline. After startup, though, existing lights should indeed go Unavailable when they disappear from the network.
