I am looking to find a smart bulb that has a dim to glow capability. Basically the dimmer it gets warmer the color temperature.
Some Philips bulbs do this, but they are not smart - as they require an external dimmer for it.
Appreciate any suggestion. And before I forget - I am in the US so I will need 120V version.
why not just get a color temp adjustable bulb?
Any CCT bulb can do that with an automation 
Although I can still recommand the Philips DT (DimeTone / Dim to Warm) because they have a way better colour rendering (CRI >90) than most smartbulbs.

You pointed it exactly right.
CRI and the tone especially when dimmed is essential for me. Wife has a sensitive eagle eye. She catches me whenever I mess with bulbs in the house.
