First real post on here. I’m looking for some help with automating some bathroom lights.
This approach is being used for four bathrooms with Hue lights. The basic idea is to turn the lights on with motion, but to adjust the color/CT/brightness based on the time of day. This means I have four scenes for each bathroom dim white, bright white, dim red, and bright red.
I have the automations already setup with the basic flow of triggered by motion, then a Choose setup to evaluate the time windows to determine which scene to turn on.
This approach definitely works, but I’m wondering if there might be a more efficient way.
