Light on/change when Cubase Records

Hello all,

I’ve tried the Steinberg forums a while back, but noone seems to care and/or able to help me. My request is simple: I want to change the light in the vocalbooth to the color RED as soon as I start recording in Cubase.

I somehow have to find a way to ‘read’ the record status from Cubase, but I don’t have any clue how to get this done. Do you guys have any smart ideas, maybe? Could be software, could be midi(hardware). I’m open to any suggestion!

You could translate midi commands to mqtt. From there it can be brought into HA. You might be able to find something that runs on the same computer as cubase. This runs on linux
