I see lots of light switches that can be controlled via automation, but I am looking for one that will allow me to define “triggers” (such as a double-tap fires this action). I know I could do a wall mounted tablet, but I would like simple/manual controls ideally. Thanks!

1 press toggle roof light
2 presses toggle the toilet light
1 long press toggle the bed lamps
3 presses toggle the hall lights
If you’re willing to use Z-Wave, then many Z-Wave switches can do this. I have several GE/Jasco switches that support double-tap. If you want to buy some, just make sure to get the newer models that support “Z-Wave Plus.”
