A nice feature might be to set a “On” threshold for a light entity created from a switch entity. See here - Light Switch - Home Assistant
For example, I have a group of several kitchen lights. In that group are mostly dimmable lights except our backsplash lights which are not dimmable and are Light Switch entities. When I command even as low as 1% to the kitchen light group, these lights come on at 100% (because they are only on/off).
If the proposed feature existed, the user would set the threshold to say 20%. If the user commanded the group to 10%, those lights would stay off and everything else would dim to 10%. If I commanded the lights to 50%, then they would come on (and everything else would dim to 50% as commanded).
