Light Switch UK, Matter over Thread

So the title pretty says it all. I’m looking for a UK compatible light switch solution that:

  • Maintains normal functionality at the switch itself for guests
  • Connects with Matter over Thread
  • Acts as a thread router to build out a strong network
  • Works with and without neutral

I’ve been waiting patiently. Now CES 2024 has passed and I still can’t find this I thought I’d post in the hopes it does exist and I’ve just missed it.

Would be nice, but I don’t think there’s one out yet.

The closest I have is the MINIR4M. The title tells you the most important aspect, namely:

SONOFF’s First Matter Device

  • Matter over WLAN (not Thread)
  • Relay, not dimmable
  • Does support manual switches
  • Needs a Neutral (but just mount in the ceiling void above a rose (with appropriate secondary insulation to BS7671, obs).
  • One paired fine, another refuses to work for now.
