So I got a text from the wife about my light switches not working. They are all flashed with Tasmota. They were working fine the night before. Of course I am at work when they stop working. The physical switch was working. It had power, I could open the Tasmota console and toggle it to turn it off and on. Just the click of the switch wasn’t working. It is just weird how all of a sudden a device will not work even with no changes in configuration or no update to anything.
Not weird at all, the more complex a basic task becomes the more opportunity for failure. As great as tech is it’s certainly not without its flaws and then when you toss “custom” into the mix you are only elevating those flaws.
