Lightify gateway IP-address

Hi all,

I just bought a lightify gateway with some bulbs (all official osram). I can control my lights via the lightify app on my android.

I now want to integrate it with homeassistant but I’m having trouble to find my gateway IP address…

Where can I find it? I even looked up the mac address which is noted on the back of the Osram Lightify gateway in my WLAN modem routing table but could not find it… so, al little bit stumbled about what to do next :slight_smile:

Resolved the issue:

  • Reading the source code from the lightify address, I found out the port used by the Gateway api was 4000
  • I then used NMap to do a port scan on port 4000 on the IP range 192.168.1.0/24
  • I then saw it was 192.168.1.40

Strange that the device does not appear in my Belgacom modem/router… But the Belgacom modem isn’t really good anyway. Issue solved at least!

Hi! Trying to use a user created lightify bridge integration with the gateway! Where can I find the mac address of gateway?
