I’m running HA on a Synology NAS and I’ve managed to get my Milight/Limitless RGBW lights with the V6 box working with Alexa using the Hue emulation and limitlessled modules. I get it that it won’t be possible to actively switch the color via Alexa. However, at the moment the module is actively switching the color to white every time the lights turn on.
I can see that this is being done in two stages: First the lights come on with the color and brightness they had last time they were turned off. Then, about 300ms after that, they switch to white and the brightness set in the Alexa app the last time it was used.
Since the Limitless/Milight bulbs remember their last state, unlike the Hue bulbs, it would be really nice if there was a way to eliminate the second step. All that is really needed for turning on is ONLY the ON command, nothing else. Then you would get the color setting the bulbs had when they were turned off, which is generally what you want.
Is there any way to suppress the second command that is being executed after the ON command?
