LimitlessLED hex

Hi.

I am struggling with the lights keep coming on Blue rather than white using Home Assistant. They seem to have remembered some state and always default to that. Is there any way I can set the state of the light on startup?

If I use the windows app supplied by limitlessled, it sends a string of hex codes to the light and I think home assistant seems to use JSON commands?

Is there any way to set the default string to send to a light when you switch it on similar to that windows app?

The app produces this report:

So can I configure the string sent to lights?

I just setup my limitlessled downlights with HA. And I have this problem too.

1 switch controls 4 downlights and sometimes 1-2 of them has a different color temperature than the rest.

My problem was I had an automation that was changing the colour to blue when the state changed from off to on…

Ah OK. Thanks for sharing! I don’t have any automation set up yet so it could be something else
