I have/had a local LightwaveRF PIR linked to LightwaveRF wall socket for some time now but the socket is playing up more and more, it gets stuck on even if you manually push the off button. Playing Thomson Daley’s decathlon on it for 5 minutes usually brings it back but I digress…
I’ve now plugged in a Sonoff/Tasmota MQTT device to be able to control the under lights.
I have an automation that sees the PIR come on and turns the socket on and another automation that sees the PIR go off and turns the socket off so we’re all good but…
Is there a better way to do it?
Can I link the PIR status in HA to the socket or can I wrap it into a single automation etc?
