I will start this out by saying I’m absolutely certain I’m just being really stupid, and so I’m sorry for the stupid question.
I saw a review for the LinknLink ISG Maxx, and how it was almost purpose built to integrate with Home Assistant, and could be its own hub, and hosted everything locally, and it just seemed like the perfect way to jump in. However, I cannot seem to take the first real HA step. I have the device, I’ve enable the HA service, but I never saw anything about the first login credentials. My only google results have been about using “root” which doesn’t work, and various console options ‘if you have access to the console on the device’.
I am able to pull up the HA local login page both from the device and from my PC, but I cannot for the life of my figure out what I’m supposed to be entering for login credentials to get started. I’ve tried resetting the device to see if i just missed a prompt or pop up, I did not. I’ve tried using my LinknLink login, that does not work. I’ve tried root, that does not work. I’ve tried my login credentials for the HA website, also a failure. I even went looking to see if I could just buy a green device and start with that because that apparently auto-imports to the LnL device. Though its not supposed to be mandatory.
I’m at my wits end, and I’d really love to be able to use this awesome platform.
