Beware, I bought one of these, but there does not seem to be a ESP32-C3 inside. Just BLE.

No luck getting this to work with Home Assistant.

so any luck working with HA without Aquara hub? I have the same sensor and trying to find a solution which works with HA.

No, no way of getting this into HA without the Xiaomi gateway, which is not something I would want.

Ideally you would want to add this as a BLE device directly either via the host, or using the esphome BLE-proxy.

If I would have not been so rudely misinformed by the topic starter, I would have ordered the zigbee or wifi version. :wink:

I’m reading stuff about specific BLE hardware that can be flashed with a zigbee variant of the firmware and that aces as a zigbee device. Does anyone know if there is something available for this ES1ZB (MI) (BLE version) as well?

Does anyone have this BLE device successfully working in Home Assistant and…how?

I have one of them succesfully connected to xiaomi gateway v3. But device doesn’t show up in homeassistant. What am i missing.
