Hi guys,
I’ve a very simple automation:
When motion is detected turn on a group of lights with a 5s transition
When no motion is detected turn off the group of lights with a 5s transition.
for the sake of the example let’s consider the starting point with lights on 100% brightness.
Expected behaviour:
Upon no motion turns off the lights with 5s transition
Upon motion turns on the lights to 100% (last state) with 5s transition.
What really happens:
Upon no motion turns off the lights with 5s transition
Upon motion turns on the lights to 1% (no transition or not visible since it goes just until 1%)
this happens only if I use transitions, it’s like HA stores the last “on” state with the last 1% while turning off.
It does not matter if I have my lights paired directly with conbee2 (ZHA) or if the lights are paired to the Philips Hue hub.
THis does not happen with other brands I have (Ikea or Philips Hue)
Can someone help out with this?
