Live Action Log wanted

Hi all,

I’m new in the Home Assistant galaxy and I find here a awesome solution with great possibilitys.

Here is my first problem/question I’m looking for help. I was seeking in the community but I don’t found an answer:

Is there any possibility for a live-action-log overall actions I execute in HA?

I know the “error log” but I’m looking for a really detailed log what happend when I execute something (communications with hardware, responses, etc.).

Thanks in advance and greetings from Munich

Click this: Open your Home Assistant instance and show your logbook panel.

Don’t assume that all users permit permanent web storage …

It doesn’t. That’s why it offers you the option to add the URL every time it can’t find a stored URL.

Thank you for the quick responses. I assume there is no more detailed log with details about the communication with the devices?

You can set debug mode for the system log. Best not to leave it like that though. It generates a large log.

That’s it. Thank you

The MY links are really useful. Are they auto-generated?

Seems not .
How do we make the nice buttons?

Thanks @tom_l
