TL;DR Livoltek added Security ID UI to the portal (similar to “Generate Token”).
- Contants at site not responding
- I found them on LinkedIn and asked for help
- They forwarded me from LinkedIn to the WhatsApp
- After a few weeks of discussions (in the end, they added an engineer from the R&D team), they released a new UI

Hi!
Im trying to add livoltek integration using livoltek portal token security id and key but I get Invalid Athentication.
what could be wrong?
thanks
Had the same problem, the key displayed by the web page contained the “\” character which is interpreted as an escape character and not displayed. I solved it by copying the key with the copy function into the “operate” cell.
Hi,
I have succesfully setup the integration of the hass-livotek
FYI, the process to follow to get security ID, token and API Key is the following:
1.Go to LIVOLTEK Monitoring, log in
2.Top right, go to your profile and you will see the panel and tabs for generate token and security ID
3.Go to generate token tab, click the +add button and setup an effective date in the future, the password requested is the one of your Livoltek account
4.Go to Security Id tab and click the +add button to generate a security Id and a Key
5.Finally use the 3 values above to fill the HA integration panel
!!!Important!!! After copying those value in HA I got an authentification error, I have contacted support (which was very responsive and helpfull) and they told me there is a need to add “\r\n” at the end of the KEY. so the final format of your key is what you copy from the dashboard and the string, like KEY\r\n
Interesting post for the future! I will have a Livoltek in some weeks
With \r\n in the api key i got “unknown error”, without “Invalid authentication”
LoL
Any updates on this?
This week I get the chance to test a livoltek battery. It would be nice to be able to fully utilize this with emhass.
Do you also know if there is a local API to use modbus over IP or something?
