Local calendar automation trigger: new event added

I like the new local calendar introduced in 2022.12.

I created a local calendar for family events. Then I was going to create an automation to be notified when someone from my family adds a new event in the local calendar. I was disappointed to see that this was not available as a trigger (only event starts or stops).

Would it be possible to add an automation trigger “new event added” in calendar?

I am looking for this exact same thing. I need to trigger an automation with an email notification when a new local calendar event is created by a user. I tried using the Developer/Events to see if there was an event created on a new calendar entry but there was none. Hopefully someone can help?
