Local Calendar - Maintain uppercase characters for created calendars

Hi,
When creating a new calendar, the calendar name entered in uppercase is not retained and is shown in lowercase. You have to edit the entity settings afterwards and enter the friendly name as desired in capital letters. Otherweise, in the calendar ui, the calendar name will be shown in lowercase.
It would be nice if the calendar name was displayed in the calendar UI as entered when created.

Here a few screen shots:

  1. Screenshot:
I create a new calendar where I use capital letters as “calendar name”. I emphasize “calendar name” here because it’s not an entity name, it’s the name of the calendar. (for me the display name of the calendar)

2nd screenshot:
Here you can see that in the calendar UI the calendar display name no longer uses uppercase.

  1. Screenshot:
Here you can see that the entity name, as usual, is without capital letters, but the calendar name has lost its formatting with capital letters.

  2. Screenshot:
Now for comparison, I use the entity card and add a device.

  3. Screenshot:
In the entity detail you can see that no additional name is entered under “Name” and that the entity name is shown as usual without capital letters.

  4. Screenshot:
In the UI you can see that the device name is displayed in capital letters in this entity card, and that with an entity name that is not in capital letters and also without an additional entry of a friendly name.

Conclusion:
I think that in the calendar integration the calendar name should be taken over as it was defined when creating the calendar. If I use capital letters there, then the name of the UI should also be displayed in this way, regardless of the fact that the entity name does not use capital letters.
I hope that I didn’t get lost somewhere and that I was able to explain the problem to some extent.
Thanks
regards

This appears to be a frontend bug.

The only place where this actually updates correctly is here:

This does not update correctly (different calendar):

You should open a new frontend bug here:

Hi and thanks for your post.
As part of another bug, I had already explained this problem in the following post, but was not considered a bug there but as a feature request:

That’s why I posted this here.
I’m also more likely to assume a bug and will then report it under the frontend section.

And yes, the path you drew here to change the name to all caps afterwards is exactly the one I took.
With several calendars, this is tedious and not a nice solution.

Thanks
