In order for Hassio to be more resilient to interruptions in internet connectivity, it would be awesome to have a local cache for packages.
Use Case:
Every time the Terminal or Node Red add-on reboots, if you have them setup to install packages, they need internet access to do so. Additionally, it pulls down quite a bit of data, which is challenging for our friends on metered connections.
Perhaps a local squid caching proxy (which, btw, would be an awesome add-on in it’s own right for folks on metered connections) could do the trick?
