Having a media player that can output audio from the new Media Browser to a locally installed sound card would be huge. One would be able to connect their HA device to a whole house mutli-zone amp as a source, and choose the audio to play with Media Browser.
I tried the VLC integration, but it cannot play media from Media Browser. The feature would not have to require VLC, just something, anything to output Media Browser audio to a sound card on the system running HA.
