Local Tuya to no longer picking up local key?

I’ve had this Local Tuya Set up for 4 or five years already. I’ve got a certain device which is an electric blanket with power and timer controls.

I have it set up Local Tuya With all the separate sub devices.

One of them stopped working for a while over summer probably because it is in the furthest corner away from the router. Anyway I reconnected them in the Smart Live app and they are recognised in the tuya plugin

however ONE was not recognising the Local Tuya

One was fine and continued working.

The Broken one I kept trying to reconsider to see if it would one day wake up and it never did

So I did the stupid thing and deleted the device thinking I could add it again.

When I do it shows twice

But the local key No longerpre fills like before

I’m not sure what to do next?

Hello aussie1497,

Asking here is fine, but I would also ask in the home repo. I don’t have an answer, just trying to help where I can.

Hi, what do you mean by home repo?

He means here

I would say your Tuya Developer Cloud Services has expired. Log into Tuya Developer platform and check if they are In service or Expired

It is simple to extend for free, you will find a non paid option.

I would also recommend moving over to Local Tuya - Control Tuya devices locally (Fork from localtuya)

Thanks I’ll have a look at that fork too. Is the original abandoned?

It has not been getting as regular updates as the fork. I moved to the fork and have been getting much better reliability.
