Localhost doesn't work in configs

Hi,

I recently started using Home Assistant. I’ve followed the “official” way of installing HA on an Intel NUC.

I’m having some issues though. No add-on (any add-on) works unless I specifically add the device’s IP (192.168.1.106) to the configs. If I use “localhost”, it never works for some reason. Same goes for any databases, Grafana and any other add-on that requires setting up host.

Edit: As an example, when setting up a quick database with InfluxDB and connecting Grafana to it I have to use its IP 192.168.1.106 instead of connecting it to localhost, otherwise it won’t establish a connection to InfluxDB.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Did you get any further on this? I have the same problems. I don’t want to have to change config files or even worse hunt some settings in the UI (that’s much worse than config files to handle) should the IP address of the system change. I’m using the raspi image of HA btw.
