This must be a frequent request but I couldn’t find a matching answer:
My lovely wife often doesn’t know where she put her iPhone in our house, so it would be great to have it ping (or call but that has the mute issue) through HA. Has anybody done this or something similar?
What about critical notifications?

Alternativly if you configure iCloud integration you can use icloud.play_sound service. Andvantage is that as it is using find my device functionalty of iCloud, it will ring on the device even if it is muted or in Do not disturb mode.

This is what I use… I found a free obnoxious beeping sound and we ask Alexa to find “whoever’s” phone iPad etc… my wife uses it multiple times a day
Does this function still work? I connected iCloud and I don’t see the ability to play to the iPhone tone for find my phone
