Has anyone had any issues with the iOS app switching back to “while in use” after setting it back to always on? This is my wife’s iphone and I’ve done this about 10 times and she swears she’s not doing anything. It’s running iOS 14.2.

The system routinely prompts with a message like “Home Assistant is using your location in the background” with 2 options: continue to always, or switch to while in use. The dialog isn’t the easiest to understand, and the default option is to change from always, so this may be the cause.
Thank you! Since this isn’t my phone, I wasn’t aware of this behavior in iOS. I’m an Android user myself. Once I asked her specifically about this, she said she’s seen this prompt and always says while using. Even though I’ve been messing with this for 6 months trying to wrap my head around it, I really can’t be mad since she’s choosing the correct option in terms of security. Lol
