I am using location based tracking to trigger lights and found that the lights kept randomly turning on. I checked the location tracking history and found that when users where home, the location would update from away and back to home for like a minute.
This would then trigger the lights. This can happen around 3 or 4 times throughout the night.
When you move indoors your phone can no longer receive a gps satellite signal and relies on cell tower and hotspot triangulation which can be way less accurate, so your location may wander by hundreds of meters.
You can increase the radius of your home zone to take this into account. Or use other location integrations.
