I reinstalled on my dad’s phone the HA-app.
I agreed the app to use location. But it still says “unknown”
On other phones it is working fine.
In the past on this phone also
The rest of the phone information is shown right
Any ideas?

I did get it work by resetting all permissions

Canedje, where did you reset the permissions? on the phone?
try these steps: Troubleshooting | Home Assistant Companion Docs
If you do not get the permission prompt then you need to go into phone settings and grant the permission prompt. Android will not show the prompt if you denied the permissions previously.
I have a similar behavior, ‘location unkown’, when install the HA Compainion from F-Droid. The version from Play Store works as expected.
There is no location tracking on the minimal versions found on f droid. That’s to be expected as it fits not have any Google play service features.
