In my dream world I can control the audio from my Logitech z906 with a slider on my lovelace card. I already have the slider through my Sony Bravia TV addon, but it controls my television. I want TV and Logitech in one.
Does anyone have an idea how to map the volume of the z906 as a slider?
Has anyone ever heard of the project with the ESP on the z906? And use it?

There seems to be no way of getting a sensor to read the setting on the volume of the Logitech z906.
This means you will have to work with guessing the settings, which could work if you only handle the setting through HA. No Logitech remote and no manual control,since this will skew the guessing.

There is a project which will be using a ESP to control the Z906, but the dev seems to be busy with life lately.
There is also a library you can use, but it’s not a “ready for Home Assistant” kind of solution yet sadly.
Still waiting for the proper ESP firmware too!
