Long distance "switch closed" signal

So I am trying to get a long distance signal when a switch is closed, like “when circuit is completed send a wireless signal”

I’m trying to come up with a plan to make my electric gate “smart”… Only problem is it’s 500m away and runs on solar… So both low power and long distance requirements :slight_smile:
