Long term mysql and influxdb filtering

Now in 2023 a lot has happened since many started with long term storage on mysql and influxdb. From what I assume is that the mysql is used for visual data and influx is pure storage. Am I right or wrong here? Does HA pull and influx data, or should we actually use both?

My main thought is has anyone made any updated include and exclude config for both of this? If stored to for example grafana cloud home assistant is pushing out a lot of information.

So if anyone have made and good fine grained base include and exclude configs for mysql and influx it would be nice to have a 2023 version of it.

My Grafana instance is yelling especially at the following metrics:

hass_last_updated_time_seconds Aggregation
hass_state_change_total Aggregation
hass_device_tracker_state Aggregation
hass_update_state Aggregation
hass_binary_sensor_state Aggregation
