Long Term Rental Property User Interface

I own a home that I am considering renting rather than selling when I move. I currently have all switches, several outlets, thermostat, door lock, and blinds all as smart home devices and am I am trying to find out what current options might exist for creating an easy option to transition to renters without them having to download all the device apps, resetting, and reconfiguring each time a new renter occupies and creates their own WiFi network.

My hope would be to have a hub in place that can communicate with all devices (all Apple Home Kit Compatible), leverage a mounted tablet (likely older iPad) to control in-home, use an OS agnostic app for renter personal control from their mobile device, and, when they occupy, only require a single WiFi configuration setup to allow new renters a simplified ability to leverage each device. Essentially, my goal is configuring once and have an easy handoff each time a new renter occupies. I am not wanting to own/control WiFi to prevent any privacy concerns and allow each renter to choose their ISP and configure their own router, then just provide WiFi credentials to the hub.

Looking for help from the community to determine what, if any of this, is possible and in pointing me at a set of solutions.

Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

If you are not controlling the WiFi/networking this is a non starter

Besides, you want to be a renter not tech support. You will have enough problems keeping the AC running and water in the pipes to worry about “why is the light switch not showing in the app”

I might not mention smart devices and if they figure it out, they are worthy of use. Else avoid this completely

Just to repeat. A static ip and really open ports are needed and if you have no control over network it will be a mess. If you have control over network, it will be a mess as they will call you when their phones not connecting to WiFi, because they forgot they turned WiFi on their phone off.
