Hi,
i’m developing a new component to talk to an A/C controller it has many interfaces. i have created a communication hub and can send commands to and from it via a switch to turn the unit off and on and update the switch if the unit is turned on remotely but i’m getting confused how to lay out the modules etc to incorporate all the controls (on/off,thermostats,mode,fan speed, set-points in temp and percentage) looking to chat with a developer willing to offer assistance to a newbie i have a base understanding of python and have used it for scripting so i’m not total stupid just trying to get my head around home assistant. any assistance greatly appreciated.
