Looking for a DIY Thermostat using an esp32

As the title says I am looking for a step by step guide to create a thermostat with screen using an esp32 and a ds1820. Googleing only finds things years old. There must be newer

I made one of these many years ago never let me down. It uses a d1 mini though.

I built one with Tasmota last year, worked pretty well.
