I currently have a few Govee smart outlets for lamps (one with the remote button) but the API uses the cloud and seems to be very unreliable. I’m hoping to find something with local integration.
Does anyone know if this combination would work better? I’m running my HAS on a RP4 but have never used zigbee devices before.

I have a pretty robust WiFi netowrk and have landed upopn a preference to eliminiate any unnecesary extra hubs (such as Zigbee and Zwave). I have several of these - which are both local and local/cloud based (your choice in the configuration):

It also monitors power usage. All of the Shelly devices I use (and I a have alot of them) have had rock solid connectivity - no issues whatsoever!
