I’m looking for a window AC unit that integrates with home assistant. I have one I’m controlling with ir now, but I need a second one and would like two-way communication control. Is there anything that integrates with home assistant easily? I was poking around and most of it seems like a complicated setup. The u shaped midea unit looks like really nice hardware. I’ve seen people are able to control it with esphome. Are there any better options?
I have been using 2 GE Homekit compatible window A/Cs for the past year and they’re working just fine.
